Denmark ON the
UN Security Council 2025-2026
Denmark is a member of the UN Security Council in 2025-2026. The membership is a natural extension of our strong and longstanding commitment to the UN and international cooperation. The last time Denmark served on the UN Security Council was in 2005-2006. We are proud to once again be entrusted with this important responsibility. Denmark held the presidency of the UN Security Council in March 2025. Second and last presidency will be in August 2026.
